In January 2008, Michaelangelo Moran's journey in his design career began by moving to San Francisco, California to earn a second Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Academy of Art University's School of Web Design + New Media. Through his experience here, he has earned several nominations in the school's Annual Spring Show consecutively in 2009 and 2010 and also winning the Students Choice Award for his portfolio site.

Michaelangelo earned his first degree in 2003 in Boston University's School of Management with the concentration of Marketing and Finance, earning him the professionalism and entrepreneurial skills that sets him apart from his peers in the Academy of Art. After graduating, he moved back to Indonesia working for event management companies and retail management with Hugo Boss, Indonesia. He then opened his own company Danceflo Productions that strives to make quality themed club events all over Indonesia and South East Asia. It was here where his passion for design first started.

Currently, Michaelangelo resides in Jakarta, Indonesia where he is the Brand Director for his company GO-JEK, is a freelance Motion + Interactive Designer and also DJs in the city.
